The first step is to reach out to us by phone, email, or through our website. Shortly after one of our representatives will reach out to set up a free in-home consultation.
In-Home Consultation
During our first meeting, we will walk the space with you and discuss your vision, needs, and answer any questions that you may have. We will make recommendation regarding the general layout and flow of your space based on our years of experience. Our goal is to ensure that your basement feels like an extension of your home that will be enjoyed by family and friends for many years to come.
Construction & Design Estimate
Over the next 3-5 days of our first meeting, our team will create a detailed estimate for your project. The estimates will be sent via email and can also be dropped off in physical copy upon request. We are here for a follow-up call to go over any questions regarding the estimate.
Preliminary Design
Once you have approved the estimate and have decided to work with us, we will come to your home and begin a preliminary layout in the actual space. This Life-Sized Blueprint will allow you and your family to visualize the layout of the finished space. When completed you will be able to walk through your basement and have an exact idea where everything will be placed. This will give you the best idea of what to expect and allow us to gain important feedback for any necessary changes before construction begins.
Building Permits
After reviewing your basement design and approving the final layout, our team will prepare the necessary paperwork and begin the process of obtaining your building permits.
Begin Construction
Construction will begin with any demo/prep that needs to take place, followed by framing. After the framing is completed, we will do another walkthrough ensure everything you want is included in the design
Construction Process
After the proper permits have been obtained our team of highly skilled employees and Sub-Contractors will begin the full buildout of your basement. Our team will oversee the construction and is available to answer any questions or change requests along the way.
Final Inspections
As each sub-contractor completes there work, we will schedule inspections with the township. This is also a time where we will perform walkthroughs with the clients to make sure the construction is proceeding as expected and to implement any changes that may be requested.
Your Captivating Basement is Complete!
When the work is complete you will have your brand new, Captivating Basement to share with your family and friends. Our team can refer interior designer contact for any final finishes or furniture needs. We will also coordinate our touchup services for after your furniture is installed to make sure it looks as good as the day it was finished once it is fully setup. Now it’s time to enjoy your new basement for many years to come!
